Even I am impressed with this lantern.

When I first heard about the new Ring Wind-up lantern I wasn't sure if it would work very well, so I ordered one to put it through its paces.

It actually does what it claims.

Firstly the unit looks robust, it has a collapsible body for easier storage and protection and a strong hoop handle.

It has 15 super bright led's which you can switch to 9 with the energy saving setting.
It is ready to use in an emergency with a built in siren alarm.

You only have to wind it up for 1 minute to get 8 minutes of super bright light or 10minutes with the energy saving mode.
The longer you wind it the longer the light lasts

Ring also include a 12v car charger, plug this into your car cigar lighter and when it is fully charged, (the green light will illuminate) you can have up to 7 hours of light
