It does exactly as it says on the tin - it can be erected in less than five seconds and it doesn't take much more time to put away. We bought it as a storage area to be used with our main tent and for possible picnic use. We haven't used it properly yet but have put it up in the garden. It seems to be very effective. Cheap and easy to put up. Would also make a great children's garden play tent.Yellowstone Pop Up Tent - Green

I bought this for my 11 year-old son for christmas. It came packed in bag about the size of a dust-bin lid, but no more than an inch thick which made it really easy to find somewhere to hide it. On christmas eve I decided to set it up and fill it with presents. I thought I would have to give the tent a quick shake to pop it up, so I wasn't expecting it to explode out of my hand the second it left the bag, leaving me standing there completely gob-smacked! In the house the tent doesn't really need the 4 pegs that come with it, which makes it an ideal "play-tent" for children. The tent comes with pictorial instructions to show how to fold the tent back up. I suspect with these things you either have the knack or you don't, sadly I don't. There were three adults in our house and not one of us could get this tent to fold back up, we even let the kids have a go on the surmise that children are quicker at figuring out the mechanics of modern technology than us grown-ups, but even they couldn't do it. In the end 2 adults rugby tackled it into a bin-liner and there the tent stayed until the beginning of May. Despite being badly stored for 5 months, the tent was fairly easy to bend back into shape. The only major problem with it was when we came to peg it down for the first time,we discovered that the fabric loops weren't sewn in properly, two of them came away from the tent as soon as the peg was pushed through. We have since created our own peg hoops by forcing the tent pegs through the corners of the tent. This is a brilliant value tent and despite all its faults, we have certainly got more than our money's worth from it. It's tacky, bendy and poor quality, it probably wouldn't stand up to a rainy day (ours hasn't been tested in the rain yet), but the kids love it. I wouldn't recommend it for a serious camping trip, but for the kids to play in, its brilliant.
