Butterflies are attracted to nectar as their necessary nourishment. The Meripac butterfly nectar has ingredients specifically blended to keep butterflies healthy and to help them lay more eggs. It should be placed in the nectar reservoir area of the butterfly feeder and can also be sprayed with a fine mist bottle onto the flowers butterflies visit. The pack contains 212g (7.5 oz) of nectar which should be diluted in about 1.4 litres (2.5 pints) of boiling water. The Meripac Nectar Feeder holds 0.36 litres (0.6 pints) so a quarter of a pack, diluted will fill the feeder. The manufacturer recommends that nectar should be replaced every 4-5 days.
