I purhased this to replace an aging retractable line that had perished in the recent bad weather. I am impressed with the quality of the new vileda cordomatic. The casing is made of a strong grey plastic and is a more streamlined construction. The line is a lot thinner than my original but is strong and is strengthened with an internal cord. The metal wall mount is held in place with 2 screws and swivels to the side which aids fitting. There is a metal hook with an eye on the end of the line which is useful for attaching to someting at the far end.

Recommend Supplier. Next day delivery. Good quality, sturdy product. Value for Money. Washing Line as described and easy to assemble. Convenient in a small courtyard, where I have put it. Equally as good in a garden. Ideal where it is inconvenient to have a permanent washing line.

Bought this as a 'like for like' replacement for one I bought in Homebase some years ago. Excellent product for the price, much better now that my garden has a removable washing pole and retractable line!

Searched for ages to replace a similar product manufactured by Hozelock which was really sturdy and gave years of good service. I bought a cheaper replacement from Argos which fell apart after 3 months, I wish I'd seen this one sooner. It's been up for a few weeks now and I'm very pleased with it- both the case and line appear to be hardwearing and the recoil mechanism is very strong. Highly recommended. 5*!

attached this to our garden fence and works really well, good quality product. loving being able to dry all my washing for free now!!
