I had problems with squirrels in the house soffit and fascia. I also used 1/4 chunks of a snickers bar. It took a few days to catch the first one but after the first one the trap probably smelt of squirrel. Caught four so far (hopefully that is all).
The trap appears to be long enough so the tail is not trapped and is quite strong. Tip: if putting it on the roof, make sure it is tied to something (if I hadn't I don't think the squirrel or cage would survive the fall).

Although at first glance the Big Cheese looked small cheese it trapped my troublesome squirrels without causing them any injury, e.g. no trapped tail. It was unbelievably simple to use and trap the squirrels. I had fear of them bashing their way out of the cage when trapped, but the strong spring loaded door was always secure and held it's contents. I highly recommend this product, especially at the price of £16 including p&p, it's pound cheaper than any of its rivals. I trapped 6 squirrels, who had invaded my loft, within a 10 day period.

took a few hours to get the first one. all 4 squirrels trapped within 72 hours. gets better reviews than the havaart trap. an absolute must for anyone troubled by the vermin.

A most excellent product. Very efficient. Delivered on a Monday and within 11 days ... 11 squirrels captured and dealt with! Peanuts work every time. I'm thinking of trying it on ordinary ground rats next. Wish me luck.

Following a spate of killing of baby birds in their nests in the spring,
and then all my summer bulbs uprooted by marauding squirrels I reluctantly
decided that they had to go. And how!!!!
I bought the squirrel cage and put it out in my urban garden with peanuts
by the trap and a few scattered on the patio outside, and within 24 hours
I have caught FOUR squirrels!!!
I am highly delighted with this product; it is really effective and it
the best and most humane way of catching squirrels that I have found.
I cannot recommend it enough.
